What is SportsMed Express?

When you’re dealing with a sports injury, the waiting game can be dangerous. That’s why Carroll Hospital Center created SportsMed Express. This new triage and treatment service is designed for athletes of all ages, to help you get fast and focused treatment for sports injuries.

Why call SportsMed Express instead of my usual doctor?

We specialize in sports-related injuries and are experienced in advising athletes on a wide range of issues, from twists and tears to broken bones. We can help you get an appointment with the right type of physician, easier and faster than if you coordinated it on your own.

What happens when I call?

You can speak with an experienced atheletic trainer who will provide guidance and determine whether an evaluation is required. If needed, we’ll also set up your appointment with a sports medicine orthopaedic physician. We guarantee appointments within 24 to 48 hours.

Where will I receive treatment?

SportsMed Express is a service provided in conjunction with Carroll Hospital Center. If your injury requires medical care, we’ll refer you to the hospital’s award-winning multidisciplinary orthopaedics team or whichever Carroll Hospital Center affiliated specialist treats your particular injury.

*When necessary, an appointment will be scheduled with a sports medicine orthopaedic physician within 24 to 48 hours.
