Board Certified Medical Director
Our medical director, Natvarlal Rajpara, MD, has more than 25 years of experience and is board certified in:
- Sleep Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Pulmonary Medicine
- Critical Care Medicine
Dr. Rajpara maintains a stringent Quality Assurance Program with the sleep center scorers to
ensure quality and accuracy in the performance of sleep studies.
Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
All of our sleep technologists are certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), an independent, non-profit certification board that sets professional and ethical standards for polysomnographic technologists and ensures that they hold the highest level of core knowledge, skills, abilities and attributes.
CPR-Certified
All of our polysomnographic technologists are CPR-certified by the American Heart Association.
Education
At the Sleep Disorders Center, we believe education plays an important role in quality medical care. We hold a monthly education session for our sleep technologists to update them with all of the latest news, knowledge and technology in the field of sleep medicine. In addition, our technical staff is required to participate in an average of 10 hours per year of CME/CEC sleep-related educational activities.
