Assistant Vice President of Service Line Management

Ms. Sanders has been with Carroll Hospital Center for 24 years. As assistant vice president of service line management, she is responsible for the operation and development of the hospital’s seven service lines, including Emergency, Women's and Children's, Behavioral Health, Surgical, Oncology, Home Health and Cardiovascular Services.

She worked in the hospital’s critical care unit for nine years, first as a nurse, then as manager and director. She served as the director of Cardiopulmonary and Outpatient Services for 13 years. Most recently, she was the executive director of Cardiovascular Services.

Ms. Sanders received her Registered Nurse degree from Maryland General Hospital School of Nursing, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and her Master in Business Administration from Baker College.

Ms. Sanders is a member of the American Academy of Medical Administrators, the American College of Cardiovascular Administrators and the Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives. In addition, she serves on the Maryland Healthcare Commission's Cardiac Data Task Force.
