Sharon Sanders, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A.
Vice President of Clinical Integration
Ms. Sanders has been with Carroll Hospital Center for 24 years. As vice president of clinical integration, she is responsible for the operation and development of the hospital’s emergency department, behavioral health services, outpatient services, home health and care management, as well as The Partnership for a Healthier Carroll County.
She worked in the hospital’s critical care unit for nine years, first as a nurse, then as manager and director. She served as the director of cardiopulmonary and outpatient services for 13 years. She also served as the executive director of cardiovascular services and, most recently, she was the assistant vice president of service line management.
Ms. Sanders received her Registered Nurse degree from Maryland General Hospital School of Nursing, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and her Master in Business Administration from Baker College.
Ms. Sanders is a member of the Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives. In addition, she serves on the Maryland Healthcare Commission's Cardiac Data Task Force.
