Robert White, M.B.A., M.H.A., F.A.C.H.E., C.M.R.P., Vice President of Operations
Robert White is an innovative and results oriented health care executive with more than 20 years of progressive management and leadership experience in the health care industry, including service in the United States Navy. A truncated list of his expertise includes hospital operations, service line management, organizational structure, quality improvement, and Lean and Six Sigma.
As vice president of operations, Mr. White oversees the cardiovascular, surgical service, and women’s and children’s service lines; pharmacy; rehabilitation services; diagnostic imaging; laboratory services; environmental services; food services; and patient transporters. In addition, he is responsible for supply chain management, sterile processing and distribution and campus security.
Mr. White joined Carroll Hospital Center in 2004 as the director of supply chain management and took on campus security in February 2007. In 2008, he was promoted to assistant vice president of professional and support services, and in 2012 was named vice president of operations. Mr. White’s skill and ingenuity has helped increase efficiency and productivity within the departments he manages.
Mr. White has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School in May 2009, and his Masters of Health Administration from Mount Saint Mary’s University in December 2013. Mr. White also has a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives. Mr. White is currently serving on the Board of the American Red Cross for the Chesapeake Region of Maryland.
