Robert White, Vice President of Operations
As vice president of operations, Mr. White oversees the cardiovascular, surgical service, and women’s and children’s service lines; pharmacy; rehabilitation services; diagnostic imaging; laboratory services; environmental services; food services; and patient transporters. In addition, he is responsible for supply chain management, sterile processing and distribution and campus security.
Mr. White joined Carroll Hospital Center in 2004 as the director of supply chain management and took on campus security in February 2007. In 2008, he was promoted to assistant vice president of professional and support services, and in 2012 was named vice president of operations. Mr. White's skill and ingenuity has helped increase efficiency and productivity within the departments he manages.
Mr. White has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School in 2009, and he is currently working on his Master of Health Administration at Mount Saint Mary's University. He is projected to complete his MHA degree in 2014.
