Designed to help patients with certain high-risk conditions, such as heart disease, who take Coumadin (warfarin). Coumadin (warfarin) is a blood thinner that helps prevent blood clots that can cause deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarctions and strokes.
Includes a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program and an anticoagulation clinic for patients who have suffered a heart attack or who have cardiovascular disease.

Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine

Carroll Hospital Center serves patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), emphysema, chronic bronchitis and those who have had or have a pending heart or lung transplant. The program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehab (AACVPR).
