Friday, February 23, 2018 - Lou Kurzmiller named Carroll Hospital’s February Outstanding Volunteer

Westminster, Md. – (February 23, 2018) — Lou Kurzmiller was recognized as Carroll Hospital’s February Outstanding Volunteer. Kurzmiller volunteers at the information desk in the hospital’s main lobby where he assists people entering the hospital, and at the Shauck Auditorium in the East Pavilion where he greets visitors who are attending classes offered there.

“Lou has a friendly personality and warm smile which make him a perfect fit for welcoming guests and visitors to the hospital.  We truly value his service to our hospital and the community,”
said Sharyn Rhodes, manager of volunteer services at Carroll Hospital.

Each month, Carroll Hospital recognizes the extraordinary achievements of its volunteers.  They are chosen based on length of service and hours of service or exemplary performance. Community members are encouraged to volunteer their time and skills to assist in Carroll Hospital’s important functions.
