Westminster, Md. – (December 19, 2013) — More than $130,000 was raised to benefit the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center during the Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary’s Postcards from Paris Gala, held on November 2 at Martin’s Westminster.
The sold-out event drew over 500 people who dined and danced the night away in a Parisian atmosphere. With Postcards from Paris as the evening’s theme, Martin’s Westminster was transformed into the streets of Paris with an inviting Bistro, an artistic twist on “The Louvre,” Moulin Rouge and a modern take on the opulence of Versailles, resulting in a lavish black-tie event that was enjoyed by all. In addition to dinner and dancing, guests also participated in a silent auction of more than 60 items.
The Auxiliary thanks the community for their overwhelming support of the event. The Carroll Hospital Center Medical Staff was the lead sponsor for the gala.
