FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Members of the Carroll County Life Member Club of the Telephone Pioneers donated $500 to Carroll Hospice towards the purchase of a brick paver at the Dove House, Carroll Hospice’s inpatient facility.
The paver, which will be engraved with the club’s name, will be placed in the Commemorative Brick Walkway located outside the Dove House.
Bettie Beauchamp, secretary treasurer of the Carroll County Life Member Club of the Telephone Pioneers, presented the check for the paver to Jennifer Windesheim, R.N., manager of operations at Carroll Home Care, during a special visit.
According to Beauchamp, the club raised the money during a number of fundraisers held throughout the fall. The donation is one of many the club has made to Carroll Hospice over the years and is part of the club’s many efforts to give back to the community.
