Sarah Lentz, M.D., rejoins Carroll Health Group General Surgery

Westminster, Md. – (May 31, 2013) — Carroll Health Group is pleased to announce the return of general surgeon Sarah Lentz, M.D., to the group’s team of experienced surgeons. Carroll Health Group is Carroll Hospital Center’s affiliated multi-specialty practice group.
Board certified by the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Lentz specializes in advanced laparoscopy, breast surgery and endocrine surgery. She also performs gallbladder surgeries, colonoscopies, hernia repairs and hemorrhoidectomies.
Dr. Lentz earned her medical degree from Dartmouth School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at Emory School of Medicine. She also earned a Master of Public Health degree from Yale School of Medicine, Department of Epidemiology and Public Health.
Dr. Lentz’s medical career includes serving in the United States Air Force as a general surgeon for four years. During that time she was deployed to Saudi Arabia in 2003 and Iraq in 2006. She also previously served as medical director of The Women’s Place at Carroll Hospital Center from 2007 to 2010 and chairman of surgery at Martinsville Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, Va.
