Westminster, Md. – (April 1, 2013) — Carroll Hospital Center’s Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine recently received re-accreditation from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS). This accomplishment recognizes the facility for maintaining the highest industry standards and best practices in hyperbaric medicine.
The UHMS awarded the reaccreditation following an onsite survey in which officials evaluated the quality of the facility and its equipment, the professionalism of the staff and level of training, as well as the quality of care and patient safety measures. The center was found to have met the UHMS’s highest standards of quality care for hyperbaric medicine.
