Ellen Finnerty Myers, C.F.R.E.

Ms. Myers received her bachelor's degree in marketing from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1988. She has 23 years of progressive experience in the fundraising profession starting with Director of Annual Giving for the Syracuse Opera Company. She expanded her skills at the University of Maryland (Baltimore) as Director of Annual Giving for the School of Pharmacy and Department of Physical Therapy. She was later promoted to Director of Development and Public Affairs for the National Museum of Dentistry on the University of Maryland Baltimore campus.
She joined the Carroll Hospital Center team in fall 2000, from Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, where she was director of development. She has a proven track record that includes planning and management of more than $75 million in capital campaign support for Maryland charities.
Ms. Myers manages the development programs at Carroll Hospital Center and Carroll Hospice and oversees marketing, volunteer/auxiliary services, business development, physician liaisons and wellness.
