David Louder, M.D., Vice President of Physician Partnerships
Dr. Louder, with more than 20 years of experience in health care, is responsible for the operation and management of Carroll Health Group, the hospital's multispecialty practice group, physician recruitment and the creation of the hospital's Physician Hospital Organization (PHO).
Dr. Louder joined the Carroll Hospital Center team in 2010 as assistant vice president of medical affairs, where he assisted the elected medical staff department chiefs in a range of operational areas such as utilization management, performance improvement and information technology initiatives. He also served as the physician advisor to case management. Dr. Louder previously served as director of quality improvement for neonatal-perinatal services and associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He retired as a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force and served the Office of the Surgeon General in a variety of roles including director of health care operations and director of medical operations.
Dr. Louder received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Keesler USAF Medical Center, Biloxi, Miss., and a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, Tex. He is board certified in neonatology, pediatrics and medical management.
