Option A: Traditional Tuition Reimbursement Program

Must be a current Associate at the hospital who has satisfactorily completed their six-month introductory period.

Must obtain pre-approval by following the Human Resources Department Tuition Policies.

Must maintain a GPA equivalent to a "C" or better.

Full-time associates (72-80 hours bi-weekly) are eligible for $3,000 reimbursement per calendar year.

Part-time associates (32-71 hours bi-weekly) are eligible for $1,500 reimbursement per calendar year.
Option B: Associate Scholar Program

Must be a current associate at the hospital who has satisfactorily completed their six-month introductory period.

Must be accepted into an accredited/approved nursing program (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse).

Must apply and be accepted into the Associate Scholar Program.

Must carry a minimum of six credits per semester in an AA Program or 12 credits per semester in a Bachelor's Program.

Must maintain at least 2.5 GPA per semester

Once an associate has met the above criteria, Carroll Hospital Center will pay for tuition, books and activity fees up to $5,000 per calendar year.

An associate within this program must commit to six months of full-time work (as a nurse) for each semester paid for by the hospital.
Option C: New Grad Loan Work-Back Program

This option is available for New Grads hired into the following positions:

Nursing (RN or LPN)
-
Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Echo and CT Technologists)

Medical Technologist Pharmacist Medical Technologist Pharmacist

Respiratory Therapist

The hospital will pay up $10,000 towards tuition costs for a two-year, full-time (72-80 hours bi-weekly) work commitment.

The hospital will pay up to $20,000 towards tuition costs for a four-year, full-time (72-80 hours bi-weekly) work commitment.
Payments to associates from the hospital will be made in four installments after receipt of licensure.
Special Note: This program is not applicable for AA degreed nurses pursuing a bachelor's degree or another graduate program.
