More than 500 guests from in and around the community attended the 9th Annual Taste of Carroll, held May 19, 2008 at Antrim 1844 in Taneytown, raising over $100,000 for Carroll Hospice programs and services.

 

The 2008 special guests included former Baltimore Oriole’s outfielder, Al Bumbrey and Fosters Group Regional Manager, Connie Shillman.

 

With a record number of participating vendors, guests were able to sample a variety of foods provided by local restaurants, as well as wines from wineries located throughout the State.

 

Special thanks to Diane Devaney, our event chair, and to BB&T, our presenting sponsor. Our sincere appreciation goes to our vendors, sponsors, committee members and guests. Thank you all for making this event a tremendous success.
