Westminster, Md. – (July 14, 2010) — Julie Chatham, R.N., was presented with Carroll Hospital Center’s July DAISY Award. A nurse at the hospital for 11 years, Chatham was honored for her high quality patient care and strong attention to detail which helped ensure a patient received the proper treatment during a critical time.
“Julie is an exemplary nurse and thanks to her alertness and quick thinking, this patient received the appropriate high quality care she needed,” Stephanie Reid, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A., chief nursing officer and assistant vice president of nursing, said.
Carroll Hospital Center’s DAISY Award was created to honor outstanding health care professionals at the hospital. It is given to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse each month to recognize their extraordinary efforts in delivering exceptional patient care.
