The Breast Center
Nothing is more reassuring than knowing you have someone on your side. For women in any stage of breast cancer—from diagnosis to recovery—The Breast Center was designed help navigate this unexpected and challenging journey with education, support and coordination of care.

 

Located in the welcoming, relaxing surroundings of The Women’s Place, The Breast Center provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to women before and after a breast cancer diagnosis. Through personalized guidance from an experienced nurse coordinator, patients are ensured the care and support they need.

 

Mammograms are available onsite at The Imaging Center at the Richard N. Dixon Building, and surgical consultations are scheduled within 24 hours of referral. What’s more, specially trained physicians perform advanced procedures, such as minimally invasive stereotactic breast biopsies, right at The Breast Center.

 

A variety of support programs and a Cancer Boutique are vital components of The Breast Center’s comprehensive offerings. Other resources include a library of educational books and videos, as well as a variety of complementary health services, including acupuncture and massage, performed by therapists specially trained in the needs of breast cancer patients.
