Carroll Collector’s Club Annual Bingo Dinner Raises $6,437 for Carroll Hospital Center’s Breast Center

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Westminster, Md. – (November 26, 2008) — The Carroll Collector’s Club donated $6,437 to the Breast Cancer Center at Carroll Hospital Center following the Club’s 9th Annual Bingo Dinner, held in October at the Gamber Volunteer Fire Company.
Carroll Collector’s Club president Herb Marquess and Club member Dennis Zuk presented the check to Carol Phillips, special projects coordinator at Carroll Hospital Center Foundation on November 13.
Held annually in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Club’s bingo dinner has raised more than $50,000 for the Breast Center, since it began in 2000.
The Collector’s Club was established in 1996 and is for people who enjoy collecting a wide range of items, including ornaments, dolls, model cars, teddy bears and figurines.
