Westminster, Md. – (November 21, 2008) — The Carroll County Jazz Ensemble will present its annual Big Band Merry Christmas concert at Westminster High School on Saturday, December 6, at 7:30 p.m. to benefit cardiovascular services at Carroll Hospital Center. The concert snow date is Wednesday, December 10.

The Carroll County Jazz Ensemble will feature performers Brad Collins, Herb Sell, Gil Rathel, Jeff Boone, Little Swinger Singers, and Glenn Patterson. Special guests include Elaine Conover, 8-year-old trumpet prodigy Geoffrey Gallante, and the Carroll Singers Ensemble.

Tickets are available until December 5 at all Carroll County PNC Bank locations, Stu’s Music, Coffey Music, Hess Music, The Candy Striper Gift Shop at Carroll Hospital Center, Carroll Arts Center or by calling 410-871-6200.

Tickets for the main floor are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Balcony seats are $5 in advance and $10 at the door. Reserved center section seats are available for sponsors as well as reserved seating for groups of 10 or more.
