Marshall White named Carroll Hospital Center September Volunteer of the Month

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Westminster, Md. – (September 29, 2009) — Carroll Hospital Center recently recognized Marshall White as its September Volunteer of the Month on September 17. A volunteer at Carroll Hospital Center for eight years, White was chosen for his dedication, friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond his regular duties to assist others whenever needed.
White currently works as a volunteer greeting and directing staff members, patients and visitors at the main information desk in the hospital.
“Marshall is a reliable and committed volunteer. He is a joy to work with and can always be counted on to take on additional volunteer work whenever he is asked,” Mary Richards, director of volunteer services at Carroll Hospital Center, said.
Each month, Carroll Hospital Center recognizes the extraordinary achievements of its volunteers. They are chosen based on length of service and hours of service or exemplary performance. Community members are encouraged to volunteer their time and skills to assist in Carroll Hospital Center’s important functions.
