Westminster, Md. – (December 24, 2007) — Kari Thompson, diagnostic imaging, was recently selected as Carroll Hospital Center’s December Associate of the Month. A member of the Carroll Hospital Center staff for 20 years, Thompson was nominated by an associate at the hospital for going out of her way to provide exceptional service to a patient.

“Kari’s selfless actions enabled us to continue providing exceptional service for one of our patients,” Sandy D’Arrigo, director of diagnostic imaging said. “She consistently demonstrates enthusiasm with everything she does.”

Each month, Carroll Hospital Center recognizes the extraordinary achievements of members of the Carroll Hospital Center staff with a program called Associate WOW Service Awards. From those who are nominated to receive Associate WOW Service Awards each month, one Associate of the Month is chosen. And, from a year’s worth of Associate of the Month winners, one Associate of the Year is selected.

Community members and hospital staff members are encouraged to nominate a hospital staff member who has demonstrated a special dedication and devotion to his/her job in a variety of ways.
