FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Westminster, Md. (November 9, 2006) — November is National Home Care and Hospice Month and together, Carroll Hospice and Carroll Home Care, are encouraging members of the community to recognize the workers and volunteers who make a difference in the lives of patients recovering from an injury or living with a serious illness.
Carroll Hospice and Carroll Home Care are asking members of the community to display a white ribbon on clothing, mailboxes or front doors on Tuesday, November 21, to mark National Home Care and Hospice Month. White is the color of caring, compassion and peace and by displaying the white ribbon, the community will be celebrating the giving spirit of home care and hospice workers and volunteers.
For more information on Carroll Hospice activities, or to receive a white apparel ribbon, call 410-871-8000.
