Carroll Collector’s Club Bingo Dinner Nets $6,530 for Carroll Hospital Center Breast Center

Westminster, Md. (November 21, 2006) — The Carroll Collector’s Club donated $6,530 to The Breast Center at The Women’s Place at Carroll Hospital Center, following the club’s 7th Annual Bingo Dinner on Oct. 7. This year’s event was held at the Gamber Volunteer Fire Company. Carroll Collector’s Club members presented the check to Eileen Overfelt, R.N., B.S.N., women’s services coordinator, on Nov. 2.
The Club’s bingo dinner is held annually in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and has raised more than $42,000 for The Breast Center, since it began in 2000.
Established in 1996, the Carroll Collector’s Club is for people who enjoy collecting a variety of items, including ornaments, dolls, model cars and figurines.
