Lehigh Cement Employees Donate Gift-Filled Stockings to Carroll Hospital Center

Westminster, Md. (December 30, 2005) – Representatives from Lehigh Cement Company (North) in Union Bridge stopped by Carroll Hospital Center December 19 to donate 100 gift-filled stockings. Wallace Brown (dressed as Santa Claus) led the way, as George Keeney, Jr. (retired), Joe Fowler, Jackie Rigler, Jamie Gilbert, Gail Butler and Sherrie Dodson personally delivered the stockings to the Pediatric Unit. The stockings were to be distributed to children treated in the Pediatric Unit or the Emergency Department over the holidays.
Carroll Hospital Center, founded in 1961 as Carroll County General Hospital, is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
