Girls Scouts Sing for Carroll Hospital Center, Donate Toys

Westminster, Md. (December 30, 2005) – Fourteen members of Girl Scouts of America Troupe No. 1637 of Eldersburg stopped by Carroll Hospital Center December 19 to sing Christmas carols for patients, visitors and employees. The girls, who ranged in age from 6 to 10, also donated toys for distribution to children admitted to the Pediatric Unit or the Emergency Department over the holidays.
Carroll Hospital Center, founded in 1961 as Carroll County General Hospital, is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
