Westminster, Md. (December 14, 2005) – Local and national recording artists Kimberly Hall and Jodi Harman have made a cash donation to The Breast Center in The Women’s Place at Carroll Hospital Center following their benefit concert held December 2 at the Carroll Arts Theatre. In addition, a CD of holiday songs by Hall, Harman and others, “A Silent Night,” will be on sale in Carroll Hospital Center’s Candy Striper Gift Shop in the main lobby of the hospital and at The Women’s Place. The CDs are $18 and proceeds also benefit The Breast Center at The Women’s Place.
Harman said she chose to donate a portion of the proceeds from both concert and CD sales to The Breast Center at The Women’s Place because her own mother had passed away from cancer in 1990. “I hope the money will be used to provide resources to women who have been diagnosed with cancer,” Harman said.
