"Shopping in the Round" benefits Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary

Westminster, Md. (November 10, 2005) — Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary invites the community to shop for their favorite holiday gifts and crafts at the Annual "Shopping in the Round" sale on Thursday, November 17 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., in the hospital’s main lobby. More than 25 vendors will have items including toys, decorations, jams and jellies, jewelry, needlework, wood products, baskets and more available for sale. In addition, a bake sale and cake auction will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from these sales benefit the Auxiliary.
The Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary began in 1959 to provide both financial and volunteer service support to the hospital. The Auxiliary has more than 300 members, 184 of whom are active volunteers. Annual fund-raising events such as the Silvery Moon Ball, Tree of Lights and Spring Fashion Show benefit the Auxiliary's mission to support Carroll Hospital Center in serving the community’s health care needs. The Auxiliary also operates The Candy Striper Gift Shop located in the main lobby of Carroll Hospital Center and The White Rabbit Thrift shop at 550 Washington Road. The shops offer a wide assortment of gift items and are open daily for your holiday shopping convenience.
Founded in 1961, Carroll Hospital Center is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
