D'Arrigo Joins Carroll Hospital Center as Director of Diagnostic Imaging

Westminster, Md. (October 17, 2005) — Sandy D’Arrigo has been appointed the new Director of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Carroll Hospital Center. She comes to Carroll Hospital Center with a great deal of experience in radiology, as well as management expertise in health care settings.
D’Arrigo, a Germantown resident, was formerly the Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services at Kaiser Permanente of the Mid Atlantic States. Prior to that, she served in various director level positions at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda for over 10 years. D’Arrigo has previously worked on the planning and implementation of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and will be instrumental in setting up PACS at Carroll Hospital Center in the near future. PACS allows physicians and other care providers to access and view patient imaging records immediately from any computer.
Carroll Hospital Center, founded in 1961 as Carroll County General Hospital, is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
