Carroll Hospital Center names Employee of the Year

Westminster, Md. - Shane Jager, a computer specialist in the information systems department, was named Carroll Hospital Center’s Employee of the Year for 2004. He received the award at the hospital’s Employee Recognition Dinner held Sept. 27 at Martin’s Westminster. The annual event honored employees celebrating five to 40 years of service.
Jager has worked at Carroll Hospital Center for four years and was recognized for his willingness to always help others, team spirit, gracious attitude and dependable work and dedication to the hospital.
“I was extremely surprised to win the award,” said Jager, who received a plaque and a $100 gift certificate. “I'm lucky to have a very supportive team and am fortunate to work for a hospital that recognizes and appreciates their employees.”
A resident of Westminster, Jager earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Towson University.
Founded in 1961 as Carroll County General Hospital, Carroll Hospital Center is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
