Perry named director of imaging services at Carroll County General Hospital

Gene Perry has been named the director of diagnostic imaging at Carroll County General Hospital. He is responsible for overseeing the hospital’s radiology services, including diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine, as well as the cardiovascular laboratory.
Perry has 20 years of experience in the field of radiology, both in managerial and technical roles. He previously served as regional director of imaging services for the Mid-Atlantic region of Dallas-based Radiologix, one of the largest independent operators of free-standing radiology centers in the U.S. Before that, he was director of clinical operations for Advanced Radiology, the largest radiology practice in the state of Maryland.
A resident of Westminster, Perry received his bachelor’s degree from Towson University and an associate of arts degree in radiology technology from Essex Community College, in conjunction with Franklin Square Hospital.
Founded in 1961, Carroll County General Hospital is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
