Carroll Hospital Center fills key clinical positions

 Westminster, Md. – Carroll Hospital Center recently named Lisa Burmeister, R.N., clinical manager of surgical services and Leslie Sanders-Wright, R.N., clinical manager of the Richard N. Dixon Ambulatory Care Center, the hospital’s outpatient surgery center.
Burmeister has been responsible for the hospital’s preoperative center and recovery room for the past year and will now provide oversight for the nursing care and patient care services of the operating room. A member of the hospital’s surgical team for more than two years, Burmeister also has served as team leader for the recovery room. She has a nursing degree from Frederick Community College.
Sanders-Wright, who has 15 years of operating room experience, is in charge of the daily clinical functions and personnel of the Richard N. Dixon Ambulatory Care Center. She previously served as team leader of the center’s operating room and worked as a staff nurse in the hospital’s operating room before moving to the Ambulatory Care Center when the facility opened in 1997. Sanders-Wright received a nursing degree from Delaware Technology College in Georgetown, Del.
Founded in 1961 as Carroll County General Hospital, Carroll Hospital Center is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
