 Westminster, Md. –
Members of the quilting club at the Westminster Senior Activities Center offered some relief to patients recovering from surgery by donating handmade pillows to Carroll County General Hospital.
The pillows aid patients by helping them breathe and cough more easily after abdominal surgery. A total of 61 pillows were donated.
“The ladies are very good at these kinds of projects. The pillows were fun and easy to make and the class enjoyed doing them,” said Carol Kaczor, Senior Inclusion Program Assistant.
The Westminster Senior Activities Center provides educational and recreational activities for seniors in Carroll County.
Founded in 1961, Carroll County General Hospital is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
