Classic car to highlight auction at Auxiliary Ball

A 1974 ½ MGB Roadster will be among the featured items of a live auction at the Carroll County General Hospital Auxiliary’s Silvery Moon Ball, held Saturday, November 2 at Wilhelm LTD. Catering in Westminster.
This classic British sports car, provided by Northwest Imports in Finksburg, has a manual 4-speed transmission, full rubber bumper, new tires and is finished in mariner blue with a tan interior. Overall, the vehicle is structurally and mechanically sound with a high performance engine that the sports car is known for.
Although the Ball is sold-out, bids are being accepted with a guaranteed credit card until 5 p.m., Thursday, October 31. Minimum bid is $4,000. Call 410-871-6200.
The 43rd annual Silvery Moon Ball is the Auxiliary’s formal event and one of its biggest fundraisers. The theme of this year’s event is “A Night at the Oscars,” with music by “Second Nature.” Proceeds from the Ball will support the Auxiliary’s $1 million pledge toward the “Fulfilling the Promise” campaign at Carroll County General Hospital.
Founded in 1961, Carroll County General Hospital is a non-profit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
