Carroll County Children’s Fund selling tickets for playhouse raffle

The Carroll County Children’s Fund is holding a raffle for a Victorian-style playhouse through Friday, December 13. The playhouse was constructed and donated by Robin Ford Builders, with lumber supplied by the Lumber Yard in Hampstead, and is 8 feet by 10 feet, stained beige with maroon siding and has three working windows and a locking front door. It is valued at $5,500.
Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased through the Children’s Fund by calling 410-876-0928, or at the following locations: Branch, Bank & Trust (all Westminster locations), David’s Jewelers, Davis Buick-GMC, The Hickory Stick, Lumber Yard of Hampstead, The Pour House Café, Robin Ford Building & Remodeling and Sherwin Williams.
The winning ticket will be drawn Thursday, December 17. Ticket proceeds will benefit the programs and services of the Children’s Fund. The playhouse is on display at Davis-Buick-GMC in Westminster.
A non-profit organization in Westminster, the Carroll County Children’s Fund was established in 1983 by pediatrician Karl Green, M.D., to provide medical assistance for children whose families are underinsured or uninsured.
