Carroll County General Hospital Support Group to plant community garden

Westminster, Md. – The Juvenile Diabetes Support Group at Carroll County General Hospital will plant a garden of marigold flowers in front of City Hall in Westminster from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 15.

Designed specifically for diabetic children (elementary school age) and their families, this monthly support group provides a unique opportunity for attendees to interact while participating in entertaining activities. Guest speakers are also featured and offer information on the latest medical advancements and treatments for diabetes.

Founded in 1961, Carroll County General Hospital is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
