Golf entertainer to appear at Carroll County Golf Classic

The Carroll County General Hospital Foundation invites you to experience golf like never before. Ben Witter, a golf professional and director of instruction at Iron Valley Golf Club in Cornwall, Pa., brings his extraordinary Power Golf Show to Wakefield Valley Golf & Conference Center as part of the 11th annual Carroll County Golf Classic, sponsored by the Carroll County General Hospital Foundation.
The exhibition show is from 11-11:30 a.m. Sept. 21 and features long drive and trick shots from Witter, such as hitting 10 balls in the air at the same time, 350-yard drives with a 55-inch club, hitting a ball through a piece of plywood and the famous shot with a garden hose. Witter, is a three-time All-American golfer at Indiana University, Pa., and two-time NCAA Long Drive Champion. He also is a frequent competitor on the buy.com (formerly NIKE) tour.
The Golf Classic is the premier golf tournament in Carroll County and has provided nearly $700,000 in charitable support to the hospital’s programs and services.
The Power Golf Show is open to the public and tickets cost $10 per person. Proceeds from the show will help purchase a new CT Scanner for Carroll County General Hospital.
