Westminster, Md. – The Carroll County General Hospital Foundation has named Sherri Hosfeld Joseph as director of the annual fund. Joseph will oversee fundraising efforts including the Carroll County Golf Classic, direct mail appeals and commemorative gifts.

She comes to the Carroll County General Hospital Foundation from Target Community & Educations Services, Inc., where she served as director of development for more than three years.

A native of Westminster, Joseph holds an Associates of Applied Science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

The Carroll County General Hospital Foundation was established in 1975 to provide philanthropic support to Carroll County General Hospital.

Founded in 1961, Carroll County General Hospital is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering a continuum of services, including comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community programs.
