Carroll Hospital Center’s team of anesthesia specialists is lead by a board-certified anesthesiologist, Andrew Green, M.D., chief of anesthesiology.The anesthesiology specialists are comprised of physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA).

Each member of this team plays an important role in a surgical patient’s health care team. Patients should be aware of whom their anesthesia specialist is for their procedure and work with them to discuss the type of anesthesia that best meets their needs and to ease any concerns.

Care before, during and following procedures is the primary focus for our anesthesia department. Much of their work is behind the scenes, working alongside a patient’s entire health care team to ensure the most comfortable and safe transition through the anesthesia process.

In addition to the multitude of anesthesia needs our team of specialists manages for our patients having surgery, other procedures involving anesthesia or our maternity patients, these medical professionals handle a full array of chronic and acute pain needs as well.
