Construction of the new William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center and Tevis Center for Wellness is going well and remains on schedule for completion next year.
Currently, inside the Dixon building, the interior of the former ambulatory care center has been demolished. Crews have erected new walls, which will be painted and primed and underwater slab plumbing is being installed.
Site work also continues outside the main entrance of the Dixon building, where you can now see the steel support beams for the cancer center’s new concourse and its linear accelerator vaults.
Scheduled to open fall 2014, the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center and the Tevis Center for Wellness will be housed in a new 43,000 square-foot facility adjacent to the Dixon Building on the hospital’s campus.
