About Stephanie Reid

Stephanie Reid, RN, BSN, MBA, joined the Carroll Hospital Center family in 1992 as a Shift Coordinator, later serving as the Staffing Manager and Director of Medical-Surgical Units. In 2004, Ms. Reid was named the Director of Inpatient Services. As Assistant Vice President of Nursing, Ms. Reid oversees all inpatient units and oversees infection control, behavioral health services, pediatrics and The Family Birthplace. She has been a Registered Nurse for more than 29 years.

Ms. Reid earned her Associate degree in Nursing from Howard Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Notre Dame in Maryland. She also has a Master in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, from Baker College. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives, Maryland Nursing Workforce Commission and the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer.
 
With her extensive experience and education in health care, Ms. Reid is leading our nursing division to provide top-notch quality care to our patients, and all with a personal touch. She encourages open communication and a warm, friendly environment among her nursing staff, and it shows. 
 
In her spare time, Ms. Reid enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going camping, crafting, gardening, going to the beach and raising her German Shepherd dogs.
