Improving mental health one person at a time
Do you or someone you love struggle with mental health or addiction issues? Carroll Hospital Center offers comprehensive care for behavioral health conditions, plus hope for those with addictions. Our programs are tailored to the needs of adolescents as well as adults and seniors. Our skilled, compassionate staff treats problems that include depression, post-partum depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, age-related problems, panic disorder and substance abuse coupled with mental health issues. Contact us for more information about our programs and services.
To meet your individual needs and allow you to continue a normal daily routine to the greatest extent possible, we’ve developed a range of treatment options including:
Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit:
24 hour care for those who need intense intervention
Partial Hospitalization Program:
To allow those who need less intensive care to attend school or work
Intensive Outpatient Program:
For those who can function more independently
Dual Diagnosis Program:
Treats those with behavioral conditions as well as substance abuse issues
Intensive Outpatient Program for Addictions: a structured program to help patients function successfully at home and work or school.
DWI Education Program: a 12 hour certified education program for people charged with driving while intoxicated, for adults and adolescents.
In each program, patients receive coordinated care from a team of medical professionals in psychiatry, psychology, medicine, social work, nursing, occupational therapy and education. We also coordinate with other community organizations, when appropriate, to give you the best possible care.
Our services are licensed by the State of Maryland and accredited by the Joint Commission.
