Nondiscrimination Policy
The Secretary of Maryland's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, by law and policy, does not permit discrimination against anyone on the basis of race, color, age, national origin, sex, religion or disability.
This nondiscrimination policy applies to Carroll Hospital Center and its programs as a provider of health services who receives federal funds under Medicare Part A or under Medicaid.
Anyone who believes that an act of discrimination has taken place in the areas of delivery of services, treatment procedures or any other areas at Carroll Hospital Center as detailed by Federal Civil Rights law has the right to file a complaint and to receive prompt investigation of the allegation(s).
