Westminster, Md. – (March 26, 2014) — Gil Creutzer was selected as Carroll Hospital Center’s March Volunteer of the Month. A volunteer at the hospital for more than 14 years, Creutzer was chosen for his exceptional work at the hospital and as a member of the Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary Board of Directors.

At the hospital, Creutzer volunteers two days per week in the Perioperative Department and Volunteer Services Department where he can be depended upon to handle clerical assignments and patient-related duties with accuracy and efficiency. In addition, Creutzer plays a pivotal role in the Auxiliary’s efforts to promote and raise funds for the hospital while serving as a member of the Auxiliary’s board of directors.

“Gil is an exceptional volunteer who always gives 100 percent effort in everything he does,” Mary Richards, director of volunteer services at Carroll Hospital Center, said. “He is dependable and hardworking, and, as a member of the Auxiliary’s board of directors, he is dedicated to our fundraising efforts to make the hospital the best place to receive care in the community.”

Each month, Carroll Hospital Center recognizes the extraordinary achievements of its volunteers.  They are chosen based on length of service, hours of service or exemplary performance.
