Mary Domingues named Carroll Hospital Center June Volunteer of the Month

Westminster, Md. – (July 1, 2013) — Carroll Hospital Center recently recognized Mary Domingues as the June Volunteer of the Month. A volunteer at Carroll Hospital Center for more than two years, Domingues was chosen for her outstanding work at the hospital.
Domingues currently works in the hospital’s medical affairs office where she performs clerical duties and previously volunteered her time assisting staff in the hospital’s human resources department. Domingues has also helped with the Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary’s annual holiday wrapping station and has volunteered to comfort babies in the hospital’s Special Care Nursery.
“Mary is an extremely valuable member of our volunteer team. She always has a cheerful attitude, likes a challenge when she receives a new assignment and is always eager to do additional work when needed,” Mary Richards, director of volunteer services at Carroll Hospital Center, said.
Each month, Carroll Hospital Center recognizes the extraordinary achievements of its volunteers. They are chosen based on length of service and hours of service or exemplary performance. Community members are encouraged to volunteer their time and skills to assist in Carroll Hospital Center’s important functions.
