Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary 53rd Annual Spring Fashion Show raises $14,000

Westminster, Md. – (May 7, 2013) — The Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary’s 53rd Annual Spring Fashion Show and Luncheon was a huge success, raising $14,000 for the hospital. More than 360 guests attended the sold-out event on April 25 at Martins Westminster.
The show featured hospital associates, volunteers, physicians, auxiliary members and hospital supporters modeling the latest spring and summer designer fashions from Belk and the Auxiliary’s Candy Striper Gift Shop. During the event Leslie Simmons, R.N., FACHE, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Carroll Hospital Center, served as the show’s fashion commentator, and Auxiliary President Kelly W. Hill recognized the successful efforts of the event committee members, led by chairwoman Dolly Snyder.
The Auxiliary thanks all of the local sponsors and models who participated in this year’s fashion show. All proceeds from the event will go toward the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center.
