Reid chosen as an examiner for the Maryland Performance Excellence Award

Westminster, Md. – (April 5, 2013) — Stephanie Reid, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A., chief nursing officer and vice president of quality, was recently selected as an examiner for the Maryland Performance Excellence Award program. The program is the state’s Baldrige-based program that recognizes organizations for their effectiveness through performance excellence.
As an examiner, Stephanie will be one of the select few who will survey various health care organizations throughout the state that have applied for the award and evaluate them based on the program’s criteria for performance excellence.
The Maryland Performance Excellence Award program highlights organizations whose performance is worthy of emulation. It is Maryland’s only state-wide Baldrige-based continuous improvement program and is affiliated with the Baldrige National Quality Program and the Alliance for Performance Excellence.
