Parking during construction of the William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center and Tevis Center for Wellness

Westminster, Md. – (February 14, 2013) — Effective Monday, February 25, construction will begin on the new William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center and Tevis Center for Wellness at Carroll Hospital Center. As a result, the main entrance to the Richard N. Dixon Building and the Dixon parking lot will be closed.
While visitors will be minimally impacted by construction, visitors wanting to access departments inside the Dixon Building including The Women’s Place, the Carroll Hospital Center Foundation, the Human Resources Department and The Learning Center, are asked to use the hospital’s main entrance located at 200 Memorial Avenue.
Parking for the Billingslea Medical Building and the Charles O. Fisher Medical Building will not be affected by construction. Fisher Medical Building visitors are encouraged to use the underground parking garage off Stoner Avenue behind the Fisher Building. The garage is located underneath the Fisher Building and has an elevator for easy access to the medical suites.
Additional surface parking also is available off Stoner Avenue behind the Fisher Building parking garage.
Expected to open in the fall of 2014, The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center and Tevis Center for Wellness is a major step forward for Carroll Hospital Center. The centers will offer a range of comprehensive cancer services to the community, as well as programs designed to prevent illness, and promote health and wellness.
