Carroll Hospital Center’s environmentally safe initiatives have been given national recognition after the hospital received two Practice Greenhealth Environmental Excellence Awards on April 25 — the 2013 Partner for Change Award and the 2013 Making Medicine Mercury-Free Award. The national awards are given each year to honor outstanding environmental achievements in the health care sector.
