The week begins with the Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary's Tree of Lights. The Tree of Lights ceremony invites all who have purchased a “light” in honor of their loved one to experience the lighting of the tree in our Meditation Garden through the window of the hospital lobby. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary.
Throughout the week, visit our Tree Auction, also in the Carroll Hospital Center lobby, to view and bid on over 30 beautifully decorated trees. These trees of all sizes are artfully decorated and donated by individuals, community groups and businesses. They will be up for bid the entire week, so be sure to come bid on your favorite to bring home for the holidays! Bidding closes Tuesday, December 10 at 5 p.m. All proceeds from this event will benefit Carroll Hospice.
*Music and Drama groups from Carroll County Public Schools will be providing entertainment at times during the week! Stay tuned for the schedule to be posted here in November.
The Memorial Tree Ceremony at Carroll Hospice’s Dove House brings the week to a close. Lovely bulb ornaments can be purchased and inscribed in memory of your loved one, and hung for display on the trees. Those who purchased ornaments gather to see the lighting of the trees as they remember someone special in their lives. All proceeds from this event will benefit Carroll Hospice.
