The Great American Smokeout

Are you a smoker who wants to quit? Join us this Thursday, November 21, for the Great American Smokeout at Carroll Hospital Center.

From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., stop by the free Quit Smoking Walk-In Clinic in the Shipley Classroom for a brief individual counseling session to help you with your quit smoking plans. Vouchers for Chantix (with a doctor’s prescription) and nicotine replacement therapy will be available, as will seated massages. Written information about quitting smoking will be available at the Great American Smokeout information table and display in the main lobby from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants do not need to make an appointment and will be seen in the order they arrive.

This event is sponsored by the Carroll County Health Department’s Cigarette Restitution Fund Program.
